Seelie: 2D Animation

Seelie is a 2D hand drawn animation about a ghost who wants to become friends with humans because he doesn’t get along with other ghosts. Seelie has themes of death, friendship, humanity, and the supernatural through the characters who are ghosts, humans, and angels. I drew the main character Seelie as a cute ghost with wispy eyes and a swirly body to show his playfulness compared to the harsh features of the evil ghosts. I focused on creating movement in my animation by drawing each frame individually so that my characters always have at least one moving element. Seelie is my first solo and narrative 2D hand drawn animation.
